Recording from the age of 8, it wasn’t until 12 where he would be continuously recording to this very day.

Though currently active primarily as a Singer and occasional percussionist, his first instrument was actually the Drums after watching his elder Brother, a session Drummer in his own right practice.

Primarily raised on a healthy diet of Jazz, Funk Soul and Rare Groove – after acquiring an old Amiga computer,
he would delve into the world of Electronic music throughout the school years recording Jungle and Drum’n’Bass, while in-between studying A-Levels,
he would regularly go and play Drums at a local Jazz bar,
usually jamming with soon to be names in their own right including flamboyant Bass player Rick Leon James, Acclaimed Boogie-Woogie Pianist Jools Holland and legendary Trombone player Trevor Mires.

After joining a Music youth project and being taken under the wing of mentor Jean-Christophe Larkin,
he was encouraged to not only take up more theory,
but to play other instruments alongside support from Carl Marsh of 80’s New Wave band Shriekback in the early years.

Consequently,
The DreZone learned to play Keyboards, Bass and even Rhythm Guitar around this time.

Throughout the Academic years,
The DreZone would constantly be writing Song lyrics whenever possible - but never once considered himself to be a Singer.

At one particular session in a Soho Bar,
The DreZone sang publicly for the first time and overwhelmed by the response,
has continued to do so ever since.

Ultimately,

Joining a band and even signing to Universal as a Singer,
The DreZone was never content with doing just one thing at a time…

A trait that still remains today where he is still currently recording and being a Live session musician for various artists in multiple incarnations….

Influences include, Prince, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Omar, Lewis Taylor, Maxwell, Lenny Kravitz, Light Of The World and is an advocate of contemporary artistes such as Sample Kulture, Blue Lab Beats and Tom Misch.

The DreZone has a degree in Multimedia Technology, had a brief foray as a Child Model,
is a Video Editing hobbyist and is also an avid Wrestling fan (as you may find out on the Twitter page)!
